29 March 2014

Time: 2-3pm

Price: Free but ticketed

An insight in to Artist and Metalsmith Rebecca Gouldson's creative practice

Rebecca will talk about her first solo show; 'Industrial Shift' and looks back at over ten years of practice, revealing her influences and working methods, including her multidisciplinary approach to making, which draws from printmaking, photography, drawing, collage and metalwork. Rebecca will discuss how the theme of Industry has influenced her most recent work, and how this led to the series of prints exhibited at and commissioned by Edinburgh Printmakers Studio and Gallery.  Accompanying the talk will be a slideshow of images, including photographs of Rebecca's studio, work in progress, and examples of the diverse commissions she's completed to date.
