Opportunity: Freelance Gallery Technician

We are seeking freelance professionals to join a pool of expert gallery technicians who will work with us over the next 18 months, on an ad-hoc basis, to install and de-commission exhibitions, public realm commissions, site-specific works/interventions, and carry out maintenance work.

Ideally, but not essentially, you will be someone with up-to-date industry knowledge regarding exhibitions and you will committed to developing your technical knowledge, such as new display technologies and new suppliers.

You will be reliable, and be adept at multi-tasking. You will be a creative problem solver with advanced spatial awareness, a visual sensibility, and strong organisational and communication skills. Essentially, you will be sensitive to the needs of the creative practitioners you work with.

Application Procedure:

Please download and complete the following form and email it to Judith Liddle along with your CV and any other information in support of your application (i.e. copies of technical certificates, photos of previous installations etc.). We may wish to meet you before we make a decision.
