• Edinburgh Printmakers is proud to launch a new print edition by Victoria Crowe, 'Stillness'. The print can be purchased exclusively through Edinburgh Printmakers at a special launch price of £950.  You can purchase both 'Stillness' and 'Resilient Tree, Rising Moon', Crowe's prvious edition with Edinburgh Printmakers, for £2100, saving £250.

Crowe created the print at Edinburgh Printmakers in 2022, inspired by the views from her home during lockdown.

"Focus is very important, for all sorts of reasons – you really had to focus on what was outside the window. You couldn’t go out for inspiration from some foreign land.  Looking out from the upstairs window to the garden you get that slightly heightened perspective. The whole sense of the landscape and the light on the landscape changed completely, because you had no aircraft pollution. And so, the skies had this incredible vibrancy.

The beautiful print combines screen-print and lithograph to create a delicately layered work, produced by Alastair Clark as an edition of 40 prints. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.

We are happy to also announce that we have copies of 'Another Time, Another Place' avaible for purcahse in our shop at Castle Mills. This is a publication of The Scottish Gallery  showcasing the work of Victoria Crowe and Christine De Luca. This book contains images of work from Victoria's recent exhibition with the Scottish Gallery, as well as related poems.

"Another Time, Another Place is perhaps best described as a book of comtemplation. It comprises twelve paintings by Victoria Crow which inspired twelve poems by Chritine De Luca to form a beautiful conversation between an artist and a poet."  -Christina Jansen, The Scottish Gallery
