Edinburgh Printmakers invites you to join us for a descriptive tour of our current exhibition “Species of Space”, the extraordinary new solo show by artist Robert Powell.

Lead by the artist Robert Powell, this tour is tailored towards visitors with visual impairments, using language to immerse visitors in the multilayered themes and atmosphere of the exhibition.

Robert Powell is an Edinburgh-based artist who works primarily in print, often hand-colouring his prints. His uncanny and often humorous imagery is at once gloriously beautiful and grotesque, drawing on literary themes, myth and legend.
This exhibition contains sculptural installations and prints that reflect upon the ‘Universal City’ as a concept and physical artefact.

Although ideally suited to visitors with visual impairments, this event is open to everyone.
